LayerOne is a computer security conference based in Southern California. The organizing team is currently in its third year of operation. Past meetings featured speakers from all across the globe and on topics ranging from lockpicking and MPLS security to covert data gathering and HIPPA compliance. Speakers come from a diverse background and include a focus not just on the nuts and bolts of technology but the social impact as well. Our event is held at the Pasadena Hilton and is just a few minutes' walk from historic Old Town Pasadena.

Previous speakers have included the likes of Dan Kaminsky (Doxpara Research), Dave Hulton (Toorcon), Adam Laurie (Trifinite/Bluetooth SIG), and Bruce Potter (Shmoo Group).
